Jayden Reed has signed a three-year extension with the Green Bay Packers worth $50.25 million, with $20 million guaranteed.
Reed was heading into the final year of his rookie deal. He's now signed through 2029.
The deal gets done on Day 2 of the draft, locking up one of Jordan Love's most trusted targets before Green Bay heads back to the board tonight with picks 52 and 84.
Reed's NFL career got off to a promising start, hauling in a combined 119 catches for 1,650 yards and 14 receiving touchdowns in his first two years.
Heading into last year's campaign, he looked like a legitimate WR1 in the making.
But in 2025, injury struck, with foot and shoulder issues limiting him to seven games, 19 catches and 207 yards.
The Packers let Romeo Doubs leave for New England and traded Dontayvion Wicks to the Eagles earlier this month.
Reed's extension makes his place in the hierarchy clear. He lines up alongside Matthew Golden and Christian Watson as Green Bay's top three receivers.
This is a statement move. The Packers are backing the healthier version of Reed, and at $20 million guaranteed, they seem confident he can get back to his best.
Days 1 and 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft have been as dramatic as it gets, and Day 3 promises more of the same, with Rounds 4, 5, 6 and 7 streaming live and free on DAZN (excluding Canada).
Tune in on Saturday, April 25, at 5pm BST / 12pm PT to watch the best remaining college prospects fulfil their lifelong dream of hearing their names called on draft night.
