The final game of the NFL Divisional Round took place in Chicago as the Bears hosted the Los Angeles Rams. The winner would go to the NFC Championship Game to take on the Seattle Seahawks.
Despite a Hail Mary touchdown pass by Caleb Williams to Cole Kmet to send the game to overtime, it was the Rams that derailed the Bears' magical season as Harrison Mevis kicked a 42-yard field goal to give the Rams a 20-17 victory. They will face their NFC West rival, with the winner going to the Super Bowl
The Bears were driving in OT and near Rams territory when Williams threw a pass to wide receiver DJ Moore. But Moore jogged the majority of the route, and the ball was intercepted by Rams safety for Williams' third pick of the game.
The Rams went 54 yards down the field to set up Mevis' game-winner.
For the game, Matthew Stafford went 20 of 42 for 258 yards for the Rams (14-5). Williams went 23 of 42 for 257 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions to end the Bears' (12-7) unexpected run of winning the NFC North and getting to the Divisional Round.
