Usyk faces WBA-IBF threat
Oleksandr Usyk is set to defend his WBC crown against Rico Verhoeven this May - but could be forced to relinquish his other titles.
The Ukrainian is currently unified heavyweight champion, and holds the WBA and IBF straps after vacating the WBO's top gong last year.
Now, promoters Al Siesta and Kalle Sauerland are seeking clarity, with their own star contenders potentially in line to benefit if so, per Sky Sports News.
The former represents Murat Gassiev, who holds the WBA minor strap, while the latter is pushing for Derek Chisora to have an IBF crack.
Roach and Zepeda ordered by WBC
The WBC has issued orders for Lamont Roach Jr. and William Zepeda to contend for their lighgtweight belt, in an eye-catching move.
The strap, previously held by Shakur Stevenson, was up for grabs after the star moved up to light-welterweight and earned the WBO title.

The decision to order Roach, a former WBA super-featherweight champiom, and Zepeda, Stevenson's former challenger, is fascinating.
It comes with an interim champion already in place in the shape of Jadier Herrera, who has been seemingly frozen out of the process.
Suarez chases Navarrete rematch
Days after Emanuel Navarrete united the super-featherweight division with a second title, his next foe may be coming into view again.
Charly Suarez wants a second crack at the champion after their no-contest encounter last May robbed him of a possible world title.
The star lost a technical decision after his foe was cut by a head clash, only for subsequent post-fight analysis to suggest it was in fact a legal blow.
The result was subsqeuently changed, but Suarez is wasting little time in his pursuit of a rematch, aiming to make good on his promise again, per The Ring.
