DAZN News rounds up boxing's biggest stories for Friday, May 1.
Dllian Whyte is touting a potential trilogy encounter with Derek Chisora, as the star works his way back to a return.
The former last was out against Moses Itauma, while the latter supposedly retired in April against Deontay Wilder.
But Whyte believes the pair could still meet one more time, telling Sky Sports News: "He says he wants to fight me
"He's not going to retire [now]. Not a lot of boxers get to have trilogies in their career. I'd love to fight him again."
Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s plans to face kickboxer Mike Zambidis in Greece look set to be foiled by the IRS, per reports.
The legendary star is due to face Manny Pacquiao in a rematch later this year after an exhibition bout in Athens.
But per The Ring, Mayweather's varied tax debt issues means that looks set to have his passport revoked instead.
It leaves the star likely to seek alternative avenues, following news his Pacquiao bout is also set to move in Las Vegas.
David Benavidez has blasted Canelo Alvarez's plans to face WBC super-middleweight champion Christian Mbilli this year.
The former, who faces Zurdo Ramirez for the unified cruiserweight crown this weekend, has long pursued the Mexican.
But having been unable to secure a bout, Benavidez hit out at the veteran superstar's latest test as he returns to the ring.
"No one wants to see that," he was quoted by Boxing Scene. "You guys want to see that? Am I supposed to get excited?"
