Plans are already afoot for Davis to face Ryan Garcia later this year if he can get past the current WBA world super featherweight champion, but the Dominican champion will pose a tough test in the eyes of DAZN Boxing analyst Sergio Mora.

"Well, he’s going to be dangerous because he is a heavy-hitting southpaw, undefeated, coming off two big wins," Mora said on JABS. 

"This is going to be his third fight in 11 months so he’s active, he’s powerful, he’s confident and now you can throw in this into the mix, we don’t know where Tank’s head is going to be at.

"Every professional fighter will tell you that you have to be channelled in when in camp, you have to be focused on the task in hand, nothing can go wrong."

A win for Hector Luis Garcia could end any chances of 'Tank' Davis finally facing rival Ryan Garcia after years of back and forth exchanges on social media, but while Mora expects the American to struggle in the early stages of fight, he still believes that 'Tank' Davis can pull off an entertaining finish. 

"He’s [Gervonta 'Tank' Davis] going to have his hands full in the first half of the fight, but then after that like true champions, he’s going to land something big," Mora continued. 

"Normally like a left hand, it’s going to be similar to Rolly Romero only more explosive, I think Tank finds a way to win and stop this man."
