Conor Benn is not  trained by his father, but for much of his career, the former has been guided by the latter as he stepped onto the scene and followed his footsteps.

A former world champion in his own right, the senior Benn has frequently played a part in his professional career, and has helped to guide him from his amateur days.

The pair have grown closer amid the younger Benn's fight to clear his name, though he has not shied away from criticism of his performance against Eubank Jr. either.

Benn is trained by Tony Sims, who has been in the star's corner since he turned professional in 2016, with a near-flawless record between them in the ring.

The younger man was unbeaten under the legendary cornerman until they faced Eubank Jr. in April, and even then came close to scoring the victory in a tough contest.
