Conor Benn teases his next fight, and it's not a Chris Eubank Jr rematch

Conor Benn is hoping to secure a fight with Ryan Garcia if a rematch with Chris Eubank Jr cannot be made next.
Benn and Eubank Jr headlined a fight of the year contender at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this past Saturday in front of a sold out crowd.
With both Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank Sr sitting ringside, their sons produced a contest which their fathers would be proud of. In the end it would be Eubank Jr who would get the win by unanimous decision.
A rematch is reportedly set for later this year, but with Eubank Jr hoping to secure a lucrative clash with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, Benn could be forced to wait for his chance to get revenge.
One possible alternative for Benn is Ryan Garcia who makes his welterweight debut tonight when he faces Rolando Romero in a historic event at New York's Times Square.
Benn will be ringside for this event which will be broadcast exclusively live on DAZN PPV and speaking to DAZN at Thursday's weigh-in, he outlined his reasons for wanting to face Garcia at welterweight.
"If it’s not Eubank next, I’ll have Garcia next, I’ll drop back down to 147," Benn said.
"At 147 that’s where I am at my most dangerous, that’s where you see the clinical knockouts.
"Those at 154 and 160 seem to absorb the shots better. No doubt I had Eubank hurt at 160 four our five times in the fight, I just couldn’t get the finish, I just couldn’t pull the trigger.
"At 147 it’s a different ballgame."
Garcia's clash with Romero will be supported by two more contests involving major American boxing stars.
Former undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney will be in action against Jose Ramirez, while Teofimo Lopez will defend his WBO and Ring Magazine super lightweight title against mandatory challenger Arnold Barboza Jr.
