Keyshawn Davis insists he would stop Conor Benn if the pair were to meet, with the American calling the latter "easy money".
The ex-WBO lightweight champion will step back into the ring next month for a rematch with Nahir Albright in Norfolk, Virginia.
Moving to light-welterweight for the contest, the star is already floating plans to vault divisions again, where Benn currently resides.
That could tee up a potential tussle between both men, and Davis for one believes it would be a straightforward victory to take.
"I will stop Conor Benn," he told Inside the Ring. "[I] guarantee I will stop him. [It is] easy money. I would love to fight Conor Benn.
"When I move up, I would love to fight Conor Benn or Devin Haney. But [if you] give me Conor Benn, I'm stopping him for sure.
"I will fight [any welterweight champion]. But [if] you [are] talking about who I want to pick? I will fight Conor Benn's short ass."
Davis concurred that he is unlikely to factor into plans for the Briton however, adding: "Let's be real, I'm probably not on his radar.
"But honestly, these fighters don't want to fight me. They know that I'm very dangerous. I talk a lot, I sell and I also back it up."
Benn is yet to announce his next bout, but kicked off his Zuffa era with a comfortable decision win over Regis Prograis this month.
At this point, it seems to be easier to consider who seemingly doesn't want a piece of Conor Benn, with yet another in the mix.
'The Destroyer' seems to have a positive harem when it comes to fighters who are chasing a slice of the pie in 2026 and beyond.
The star's multi-fight deal with Zuffa, penned after his victory over Regis Prograis, does raise some questions on his title chances.
His pursuit of WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia remains the main focus, but plenty of questions swirl over that matter too.
Keyshawn Davis must get past Nahir Albright first. But it will be intriguing to see if he bites down harder on a chase for Benn's number.
