"The Dream" delivered an absolute boxing masterclass and sweet science shutout of Regis Prograis at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, and live on DAZN pay-per-view, Saturday night to become the new WBC super lightweight world champion. Judges scored it 120-107 across the board for the unanimous decision in Haney's favor.

DAZN also had it 120-107 for Haney, who left the ring feeling like an improved version of himself with those extra five pounds.

"A tremendous difference," a victorious Haney told DAZN's Chris Mannix inside the ring about moving from lightweight to super lightweight. "You see it in my performance. I felt so much stronger ...140 got a new king."

Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) snatched the first crown in his new division and made it look easy by completely outclassing Prograis in every facet of boxing, whether accuracy, speed, defense or power.

"The Dream" stood in front of Prograis, first establishing the jab from a distance before unleashing pristine one-two combinations, ending in stinging right hands.

That very combination was unloaded in the third round, splitting Prograis' guard and dropping the 34-year-old with a lightning-quick strike.

Prograis more than respected Haney's right hand the rest of the way through as "The Dream" peppered "Rougarou" with stinging shots nearly at will to little to no resistance at all.

Haney would buckle Prograis' knees during the sixth round and hurt him in the ninth, too, showing discipline to not rush in for a knockout attempt. Instead, he opted to continue to box brilliantly the rest of the way through toward the dominating win.

The 25-year-old openly toyed with the possibility of moving up to welterweight, but said that it's something that he and his team would need to discuss further.
