Promoter Eddie Hearn has claimed that Chris Eubank Sr is jealous of not being involved in his son's fight against Conor Benn on Saturday, April 26.
Chris Eubank Jr and Benn meet in a huge bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium live on DAZN PPV, and the build-up has fight fans reminiscing about the two classic fights between Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn in the 1990s.
One of the major talking points going into Eubank Jr-Benn is the jump in weight the 'Destroyer' is having to undertake. Benn will be moving up from welterweight to middleweight in order to face Eubank Jr.
This has sparked concern from Eubank Sr who on Thursday was quick to criticise the contest and branded it a "circus".

Hearn, who promotes Benn, gave his reaction to Eubank Sr's comments during an interview with The Stomping Ground.
"For me, Chris Eubank Sr is talking negatively about the fight because of how he feels about not being involved or the centre of attention if I’m completely honest," Hearn said.
"Chris Eubank Sr was a middleweight who was mainly a career super middleweight who fought at light heavyweight and fought at cruiserweight. Don’t talk about not moving up the weights.
"Conor Benn has already boxed at 154 twice."
Eubank Jr's fight with Benn headlines an exciting card which sees two former world champions in Liam Smith and Chris Billam-Smith also in action, along with the trilogy fight between Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur.
