However, after watching Sebastian Fundora upset Tim Tszyu to become the new unified WBO/WBC junior middleweight world champion Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Spence re-emerged and confronted Fundora in the ring.

"Oh, it's time to get it on," Spence told PBC about fighting Fundora. "He's got the big dog now."

Added Spence on Fundora's 6’5½” frame: "He got a pretty good height, but we'll break him down as we always do."

Spence did give Fundora credit for being settled and using his distance to outpoint Tszyu toward a split-decision. In winning, Fundora bounced back from a disastrous seventh-round knockout to Brian Mendoza last spring for his first pro loss.

Fundora, for what it's worth, is all for a clash with Spence.

"I think it would be great," Fundora said of the potential fight. "He's one of the greats right now, he's one of the pound-for-pound, so if I can fight him and get a win off of him, it would be good history for me again."

The two ended their face-to-face words with a fist bump in a show of mutual respect.
