A former UFC heavyweight champion (2005-2006), Arlovski is aiming to become champion once again. The man with 60 MMA fights to his bame has no intention of stopping anytime soon and spoke to DAZN News.

DAZN News: Your last fight was in Dirty Boxing. You won. You will be making your debut at BKFC. How do you feel?

Andrei Arlovski: I feel great. Can’t wait. Very excited. Can’t wait for June 21st.

DN: Why did you choose BKFC?

AA: It’s my management team. They worked on some deals for me and they found a deal with BKFC. That’s why I’m fighting in BKFC.

DN: You're 46. Why do you decide to continue? Is it to prove something to yourself?

AA: That’s exactly why I decided - because I’m 46. I decided to prove that I can still fight. I still have fire in my eyes and I’m ready to go.

DN: What do you think of your opponent, Geronimo Dos Santos?

AA: Tough. Dangerous brawler. I have to be alert. I have to stick to my game plan, keep my hands up, be ready for anything.

DN: Any prediction?

AA: Prediction? Listen, I’ll do everything possible to knock his a— out, and I’m sure he’s going to do the same. So it’s going to be a very good fight - for my fans, for his fans. It’s going to be a very exciting fight.

DN: A year ago, you were in the UFC. What do you prefer - MMA or BKFC?

AA: I prefer to win a lot, but it doesn’t matter for me. I like to box and I like MMA. Now, I have the opportunity to do BKFC. But listen, for the last 25-plus years, I’ve trained full MMA. Definitely, it’s easier for me now to just focus on boxing. But to be honest, there’s not a big difference - same schedule, same routine, except I’m just missing the wrestling and grappling with the crowd. Otherwise, everything’s the same.

DN: How do you look at your career?

AA: Just do it. Some young kids can’t do 26 years. On September 29th, it’s going to be exactly 25 years since I came to the United States. And I’ve been doing MMA for 24 years. So I think it’s pretty impressive.

DN: What is your goal? What do you want? The belt - after the UFC belt?

AA: I hope to win another opportunity to fight for the BKFC title. If not, that’s fine. But there’s more risk. I’m ready to fight anyone, anywhere. But don’t forget to pay.
