There was the first-round thrashing of Frazer Clarke in their October 2024 rematch followed by a rallying 10th-round knockout of Justis Hunni after being thoroughly outboxed in their June 2025 bout.

Then came his stunning late stoppage against Joseph Parker last fall. The win earned the Ipswich man the WBO interim heavyweight title before being elevated to full status champion.

Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KOs) will now look to defend the title Saturday night against former heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) at Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, and live on DAZN PPV. .

The bout is being billed as “Don’t Blink” and given Wardley’s absurd 95 percent knockout rate — powered by his last three outings — it’s an apt advertisment.

All of this burgeoning star power is not bad for a 31-year-old who began his sweet science journey in white-collar boxing, donning a pair of gloves for the first time at 21, and being picked out the rough by Dillian Whyte.

After battling Frazer Clarke to a split draw about seven months prior, Fabio Wardley erased any thought of their rematch going the distance and he did so in devastating fashion.

With a chance to become the interim WBO heavyweight champion, Wardley put together his most complete boxing performance yet.
