Australian boxing is on the rise and two of their huge stars will be in action this weekend .

George Kambosos, a former world champion, will face Jake Wylie in a compelling super-lightweight clash while Skye Nicolson defends her world title .

New faces are regularly stepping up in the hope of being the new face of Australian boxing and DAZN News has taken a look at who could be next to carry boxing for Australia.

Justis Huni

Heavyweight boxing is on the rise and Justis Huni is one fighter looking to stamp his authority on the division in the near future.

So far, the 25-year-old has impressed in the vast majority of his fights, and he appears to be closing in on a huge fight at some point in 2025.

Could Huni be the man to bring a heavyweight to title back to Australia? We could be about to find out.

Imam Khataev

Originally from Eastern Europe, Imam Khataev has now settled in Australia like Kostya Tszyu once did.

The light-heavyweight start has ticked several boxes on his climb up the rankings and he is back in action this weekend when he faces Durval Palacio on a huge show in Sydney.

Khataev has many admirers in boxing, and he could be about to make a huge dent on the light-heavyweight division.

Nikita Tszyu

Another son of Kostya Tszyu, Nikita is not far behind Tim in terms of progress, and he is hopeful he can enjoy the success enjoyed by his father and brother.

Currently 10-0, the super-welterweight prospect has excelled in his short career so far and this year will see him look to crack the top ten.

Can he join his brother at the business end of the division and create a takeover?

Sam Goodman

A showdown with Naoya Inoue almost arrived for Sam Goodman recently, but he will have to be more patient as he waits for his shot.

Inoue may be at featherweight by the Goodman gets a world title shot at super-bantamweight, but that will probably create an easier path to a world title.

Goodman is eager to back up his hype and 2025 could be the year he displays his credentials.

Teremoana Jr

Another heavyweight on the list is Teremoana Jr and he will be in action this weekend.

The heavy-handed star has shown in his brief career so far that he has big potential, and we will get to see more of that if he has a busy 2025 as expected.

With numerous opportunities coming up at heavyweight, Teremoana Jr will be hopeful of a big chance.
