With less than a fortnight until their WBO heavyweight title fight, Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois are stepping up their final preparations.

But they are not the only major stars across all four quarters of the globe who are preparing for their dance with destiny inside the ring too.

Miller out to stop Pero

Okolie is not the only heavyweight contender in the mix this week, as Jarrell Miller and Lenier Pero meet in a Las Vegas matchup too.

Considered a WBA final eliminator, 'Big Baby' - once due to face Anthony Joshua for the world title years ago - will hope to stake his claim.

But his opponent could prove to be a tricky customer when they square off in Nevada, and will hope to derail Miller for his own glory.

Inoue-Bam mooted by Hearn

Eddie Hearn has set tongues wagging with the suggestion Naoya Inoue and Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez could meet at some point in the ring.

'The Monster' and the American both have major bouts with Junto Nakatani and Antonio Vargas to come before the end of June this year.

But beyond that, a major pound-for-pound clash between the pair is reportedly in early discussions, according to the Matchroom head honcho.

Lorente eyes Carrington bid

Having broken a two-fight draw streak with his rematch triumph over Nathaniel Collins, Cristobal Lorente wants his shot at a major strap.

The star's win in Glasgow effectively tees him up as the mandatory challenger to WBC featherweight champion Bruce Carrington next.

The American might opt to push for a unification bout rather than face the relatively low-wattage Spaniard, but Lorente will be determined.

Fury-Joshua receding?

More than a week after Anthony Joshua declined Tyson Fury's invitation to dance in public, there remain plenty of questions on a bout.

Hopes of a September encounter at Croke Park appear to have taken a blow if 'AJ' is determined to take a tune-up test beforehand.

Fury is adamant he will go wherever, whenever for the chance, but it seems there is still plenty of ground to be bridged between the pair.

Wardley-Dubois finalise prep work

One heavyweight world title fight that is definitely on the cards enters the home stretch this week, the nominal calm before the storm.

Wardley will hope to avoid a first professional defeat against Dubois when the pair meet in Manchester, and defend that WBO strap.

But 'Dynamite' has got the job done before and will be relatively confident that he can deliver the goods at Co-op Live once again.
