Taylor is no longer a world champion after losing his WBO 140lb title earlier this year to Teofimo Lopez, but the 32-year-old is still a name which draws plenty of attention. 

There are plenty of options available to Taylor when it comes to who he will face next, one of those being an eagerly-anticipated rematch with Jack Catterall, and now Marku has put himself forward to face Taylor and he is convinced that his power will be too much for the Scottish star. 

"He's really experienced, technical but his power doesn't match my power," Marku told Sky Sports. 

"My power will dominate him. I'm going to push him and I'm going to stop him. He cannot handle my power for 12 rounds, for 10 rounds.

"Josh Taylor has never been knocked out, he has never been in the ring with someone like me.

"My desire is much bigger. He doesn't have anything more to prove. I'm climbing the mountain. He reached the top of the mountain. I'm starving to get there. When he's in the ring with me he's going to feel that. That's why I want this kind of big fight."

Marku's last outing in September saw him showcase his punching power when he knocked Dylan Moran in the first round of their welterweight contest in Manchester.
