Floyd Mayweather has responded to the rumours surrounding a possible fight with Julio Cesar Chavez.
These rumours gained traction after Chavez posted a mock poster for a bout with Mayweather with a September 16 date in Las Vegas.
Mayweather is currently preparing for a second exhibition meeting with John Gotti III in Mexico City this weekend live on DAZN, and spoke about a possible meeting with Chavez during Wednesday's press conference.
“Which one, the father or the son?” Mayweather said.
"Who do you wanna see me fight, the father or the son? Or both on the same night?
"Do I use one hand? Do I use no hands."
Mayweather and Gotti's first exhibition bout took place in June 2023, but it failed to go the full eight-round distance after a mass brawl in the sixth brought the contest to a sudden end.
