Tommy Fury is not the focus for Jake Paul at this current moment in time, instead the American is now preparing to face Hasim Rahman Jr. at Madison Square Garden on August 6.

Paul was originally set to face Fury on this date, but visa issues stopped the British light heavyweight from entering the U.S. which forced the fight to be cancelled.

This is not the first time however this fight has been called off, the pair were set to meet last December before Fury picked up a rib injury in training camp resulting in another cancellation.

Now there is some doubt as to whether this fight will ever between Paul and Fury will ever take place.

Speaking to Express Sport, Fury's promoter Frank Warren didn't seem convinced that the two rivals will go head-to-head inside the ring.

"God knows. It was supposed to happen, it wasn’t Tommy’s fault, he went to the Airport, took all his team along, the tickets were bought, everything was good to go, but there was a problem with the ESTA," Warren said.

"I don’t know. If it ever gets resolved we’ll see what happens but Tommy will fight in the meantime while Jake sorts out his date with Rahman Jr on the 6th."

Following the announcement that Fury was unable to enter the U.S., it was believed he would travel to the American embassy to resolve the issue, but Warren revealed this never happened due to all the chaos surrounding the fight's announcement.

"It was all too late," Warren explained.

"First of all, you have to make an appointment you can’t just walk in there and by the time he would have got in there it would have been too late anyway so that’s what happened.

"Tommy at the end of the day was all over the place because honestly, no one expected this to happen. It was more of an inconvenience for him and more of a problem for him, ruining his training and everything, s—ing around with that."
