'He'll bring the best out of me' - Chris Billam-Smith ready for Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez unification test

After years of pursuing a unification fight, WBO champion Chris Billam-Smith will finally get his wish tonight against Gilberto Ramirez at Riyadh Season Latino Night.
Broadcast live on DAZN for free from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the two put their titles on the line, with the Briton targeting his foe's WBA crown.
Billam-Smith has made two successful defences of his belt, but now he is eager to push on towards undisputed honours and the Mexican is the first step on this quest.
Ramirez is by far the most experienced opponent Billam-Smith has faced with a 46-1 (30 KOs) professional record and became a two-weight world champion in March after beating Arsen Goulamirian to claim the WBA's 200lb title following word championship glory at super middleweight.
Speaking to DAZN's Off the Cuff, Billam-Smith is aware that he will need to perform at his best if he was topple Ramirez, an opponent who he claims has not obvious weaknesses.
"I think he’s the best fighter that I’ve faced and that’s how it should be for a unification fight," Billam-Smith said.
"He doesn’t have any glaring weaknesses, his only loss is to Dmitry Bivol, in 47 fights which is a phenomenal record.
"He’ll definitely bring the best out of me, and I’ll have to be the best version of myself to beat him."
