Turki Alalshikh is reportedly planning two huge fights following an incredible weekend of boxing that saw Naoya Inoue and David Benavidez register huge wins.
The pound-for-pound pair were involved in big fights, and each maintained their unbeaten record as they boosted their standing in the sport.
Benavidez’s next move is still unknown, but His Excellency already has plans for Inoue, and he wants him in another huge fight early in 2027.
Mike Coppinger from The Ring has reported that Inoue vs Jesse Rodriguez is a fight Alalshikh wants to make and he is expected to move forward with those plans as long as Rodriguez gets past Antonio Vargas in June.
The fight would see two of boxing's best fighters collide at super-bantamweight following lengthy spells as dominant stars in boxing’s lower weight categories.
Another fight being discussed is Oleksandr Usyk defending his world titles against Agit Kabayel at some point in 2026, with Germany being the preferred option.
Usyk faces Rico Verhoeven on May 23, live on DAZN , and if he gets past the former kickboxer then talks could start for a major showdown with the undefeated German.
Watch Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois on DAZN PPV this Saturday, May 9. Buy as a one-off PPV or get it included with the DAZN Ultimate Tier subscription, which also includes the Usyk vs. Verhoeven (May 23), Fury vs. Hall (June 13) and Zayas vs. Ennis (June 27) PPVs without any extra one-off costs.
