On Saturday night, live on DAZN , Hitchins will be keen to display his skills and show people that he is the man to carry American boxing forward. 

In Kambosos, Hitchins will be facing his sternest test to date as he welcomes the experienced Australian to his home city, the same scene where Kambosos caused a huge shock four years. 

In 2021, against all the odds, Kambosos defeated Teofimo Lopez to become unified champion before losing those belts to Devin Haney when aiming to become undisputed ruler. 

Once again, Kambosos, is a significant underdog, and Hitchins is promising to demonstrate why he is the betting favourite.

The confident New Yorker has not put a foot wrong since turning professional in 2017, and he is hopeful he can deliver his most empathic performance yet when the first bell sounds this Saturday night. 

“I’m ready to put hands on this boy. That’s what it’s about. Proving myself, and I’m doing that slowly but surely,” said Hitchins when speaking to Fighthype . 

“I definitely need more knockouts on my record. I’m not satisfied until I see George Kambosos bleeding. I want to see blood. I want to see a lot of blood. His face all f----d up. That’s what I want to see,” 

“That’s the statement I want to make. Send him back to where he came from, back across the pond. Yeah, a bloody massacre. That’s my prediction. That’s definitely my prediction. I’ll make it happen.”
