"I think my jaw is broken by the way," Paul said in his post-fight interview. He proceeded to spit out some blood and say, "it's definitely broke."

Paul's assumption proved to be right when he took to social media at the hospital to say that he broke his jaw in two spots after a straight right hand from Joshua, flush to the area, sent the 28-year-old down for the fourth and final time. Paul had surgery on Saturday morning in which he says there are two titanium plates on each side of his mouth and some teeth were taken out so "The Problem Child" will be on a liquid diet for a week.

Despite the injury, Paul has vowed that after he heals up that he will be continuing the journey, which is to become a cruiserweight champion.

"A nice little ass whooping from one of the best to ever do it so I love this s—t," Paul said, "and I'm going to come back and get a world championship belt at some point."

Recovery from a double jaw fracture ranges from three to six months, depending on the person.
