Parker helped cement an impressive career revival in March when he defeated Zhilei Zhang, and it had been a second dance with the Chinese star that he expected next.

But, while paying tribute to his former opponent, the former WBO champion admits that he must "lift my game" and trim his weight if he is going to pose a serious threat to Dubois.

"I thought there was going to be a rematch with Zhang," he told DAZN's The Ariel x Ade Show. "Everything we’ve been doing was leading to this [in terms of weight and training].

"The only difference with Zhang as the weight. I think my endurance was better, I think my speed was better. Zhang is a very good fighter with a great boxing IQ.

"With Dubois, it will be a totally different fight, so we are going to trim down for the time. With Dubois, you have to be quick. [Deontay] Wilder and Zhang are both power punchers.

"It’s the same with Dubois, but his endurance is on another level to those two fighters. He throws a lot of combinations, so I really have to lift my game for Dubois."

Parker defeated Wilder, who famously contested a scorching trilogy with Tyson Fury, before he saw off Zhang on previously stacked Riyadh Season cards in the past year.
