Undisputed women's lightweight champion Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will become the first female main event to ever be staged at the iconic arena and it's exclusively live across the world on DAZN. 

Speaking to Ak and Barak at her training camp, Taylor claims she isn't concerned about her opponent. 

"I wouldn’t say I’m concerned," Taylor responded when asked whether she is worried about fighting the best version of Amanda Serrano. 

"I think you can absolutely become a better fighter with the small improvements fighters make in a few years.

"I feel like I’m a better fighter than I was a few years ago as well.

"I do genuinely believe this is the best fight in boxing, the excitement about this fight since it was announced has been insane.

"It is going to be a phenomenal fight between two great champions, it’s an amazing opportunity for both of us."

When it came to discussing whether there could be multiple fights with Serrano, Taylor believes there could be if their contest on April 30th is a close one. 

"If this fight is close on April 30th, there could be a second and third fight, who knows," Taylor said. 

"It could be a huge trilogy, but I’m only focusing on April 30th right now and I hope to put on a dominant performance, but this could be in the future a mega-fight again."

For some boxers, a historic occasion like this one would be the pinnacle of their careers and would then call time on the sport. For Taylor however, she is showing no signs of stopping even after her fight with Serrano on April 30th. 

"I’m blessed enough to know that I have achieved so much in the sport so far, but this night will absolutely be the best night of my career so far, I believe.

"Everything else will pale in comparison to what happens on April 30th, this is the biggest night in female boxing history and I’m so privileged to be a part of such an amazing night.

"I just want to keep pushing, I want to continue to have nights like this and continue to be involved in these mega-fights."
