The two women will be the first to ever headline a boxing event at Madison Square Garden in what should be a fascinating and thrilling contest.

As fans and experts make early predictions for the fight, many are citing Serrano's power as a huge factor in the fight.

However, when speaking to The DAZN Boxing Show, the WBA, WBO, IBF, WBC and Ring Magazine women's lightweight champion is showing no signs of concern.

"I’m not concerned about her power to be honest," Taylor said.

"I feel like I’ve got a fantastic chin, I think I’ve always had a great chin, that’s not something I think of when I step into the ring.

"I’m obviously aware of what people are saying about the fight, even when you try and be careful about what you see on social media."

Instead, Taylor is focusing solely on her own preparation and stated that it will all come down to who can deliver under the bright New York lights. 

"I’m just focused on my own preparation, what I have to do with myself," Taylor stated.

"One of my favourite parts about boxing is that boxing always gives you the answer.

"We’re going to look at each other in the eyes, the bell will ring and we’re going to see who the better fighter is."
