This could be as simple as a feint and depositing a jab to the body, before using the same stick upstairs.
Blend in the left uppercut
Observe Liddard fighting and you will notice how smoothly he incorporates the left uppercut within the regular flow of his offense.
It often follows a range-finding left jab to catch opponents by surprise.
Liddard would be wise to use this piercing weapon to put Conway on notice of his power.
Launch the right hand
Whether it is delivered as a hook around the guard or an overhand shot, Liddard’s right hand carries booming results.
That is especially true when the Essex man can use it on the tail end of a combination.
He finds a consistent home with his right hand and even a durable Conway could be in trouble.
