Liam Smith identifies one big advantage he has over Josh Kelly

Liam Smith believes his experience of getting through tough moments at the highest level will benefit him when he faces Josh Kelly.
The Liverpool man, a former world champion, will face Kelly at Wembley Stadium, live on DAZN, ON September 21.
Last year, ‘Beefy’ was involved in a terrific two fight series against Chris Eubank Jr where he traded wins with the Brighton fighter.
Smith was stopped in their rematch last September, and his bout against Kelly will be his first time back in the ring in over a year.
“Everyone at this level is a good fighter for six rounds. Everyone can compete, but it’s the little things that make a big difference,” said Smith when speaking on Matchroom’s Flash Knockdown podcast.
“Experience on the big stage will be one. Having to sit and bite down on your gumshield. I feel I've had to do that in many more fights than Josh. I feel he’s only had one massive, tough fight, and he didn’t really get through it.”
