Liddard will be defending his British and Commonwealth middleweight titles against the former European champion at London's Copper Box, live on DAZN. 

The 10th round stoppage win over Kieron Conway was Liddard's breakout moment, winning the historic Lonsdale belt and becoming one of British boxing's youngest champions.

Liddard is certainly living up to being one of the country's next big stars, arriving at Thursday's press conference in a slick black suit, coupled with sunglasses. 

"I’m very excited for Saturday night, I cannot wait," Liddard said.

"All the hard work’s done now, this is the fun part. It’s the occasion, I enjoy all this, but the real business is on Saturday night."

Liddard and Denny kicked off fight week with a face-off at the London Stadium, the home of Liddard's beloved West Ham United. 

The event was tense, but Denny claimed that Liddard's demeanour was out of character compared to the fun personality being projected at the press conference. 

"This is George Liddard," Denny responded following Liddard's comments. 

"Yesterday was out of character. I don’t know if he was nervous or what, I said ‘Don’t come with that b—t with me,’ I’m not that guy to be doing it to."

This poke at his character from Denny prompted Liddard to hit back. 

"I’ve got a very dark side to me too, which comes out when I fight, the last person that told me I was acting, look what happened," in reference to his stoppage win against Conway. 

"There isn’t no act to this, I love this, I live for this."  

Liddard and Denny make final predictions

The tensions at the press conference were simmering nicely before the two fighters were asked by host Jamie Ward to give their predictions. 

"I will get the job done by any means," Liddard began. "If it has to be a 12-round war, I’m ready for that."

Denny, on the other hand, issued a simple threat to the British and Commonwealth middleweight champion. 

"I’ll punch the f—k out of him."
