2026 boxing gets properly underway on Saturday night with two US superstars headlining the huge The Ring 6 fight card, as Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson fight for the WBO super-lightweight title.
It's New York versus New Jersey as champion Lopez, 22-1 (13 KOs), comes up against the unbeaten, three-weight world champion Stevenson, 24-0 (11 KOs) at Maddison Square Garden. It's live and exclusive on DAZN PPV from 6pm ET, 3pm PT, 11pm GMT.
It promises to be a superb night of entertainment. With with Bruce Carrington and Carlos Castro going all out for the WBC featherweight belt.
Add to that Keyshawn Davis versus Jamaine Ortiz, and heavyweights Jarrell Miller and Kingsley Ibeh going at it, this latter fight being free to watch on DAZN, then it is a fight card not to miss.
With so many great fighters and fights on the bill, who will we all be talking about come the end of the night?
The DAZN News boxing experts have been debating just that.
| Fight | Time (US) | Time (UK) |
| Teofimo Lopez vs. Shakur Stevenson | 10.49pm ET / 7.49pm PT | 3.49am GMT |
| Keyshawn Davis vs. Jamaine Ortiz | 9.41pm ET / 6.41pm PT | 2.40am GMT |
| Bruce Carrington vs. Carlos Castro | 8.40pm ET / 5.40pm PT | 1.40am GMT |
| Carlos Adames vs. Austin Williams | 7.40pm ET / 4.40pm PT | 12.40am GMT |
| Jarrell Miller vs. Kingsley Ibeh | 6.48pm ET / 3.48pm PT | 11.48pm GMT |
| Ziyad Al Maayouf vs. Kevin Castillo | 6.05pm ET / 3.05pm PT | 11.06pm GMT |
He may be 37, but this could be the platform for Jarrell Miller to put himself in the shop window one last time and land himself a world title shot when he faces Kingsley Ibeh.
Miller was in Britain last year to take on Fabio Wardley, but when injury forced him out of that fight, did he have any idea that Wardley would push on to become world champion?
The pair had to be pulled apart at a press conference last year, so the hard work in promotion has already been done, but can Miller prove he is worthy of such an opportunity and get Wardley’s attention again?
I see Bruce 'Shu Shu' Carrington stealing the show in becoming the WBC world featherweight champion in a defining performance over Carlos Castro. Although a returning Keyshawn Davis will make it close in the co-feature against Jamaine Ortiz.
Carrington has long shown world championship pedigree, and his sharp boxing tools will have his hand raised at MSG in his biggest moment to date.
I thought of Keyshawn Davis right away, as that's the obvious.
I decided to go in another direction in Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller as he faces Kingsley Ibeh. Miller's coming off a 17-month layoff as he fought Andy Ruiz to a majority draw in a fight 99.9 per cent of people thought he won.
There's no pressure on Miller, who looks in great shape. He's fighting in the second fight of the night against a guy he should beat.
The heavyweight division is pretty open, and a great performance by Miller will put him right back into the conversation.
Keyshawn Davis can make a real statement if he is able to stop Jamaine Ortiz.
In his only two defeats, Ortiz went the distance with the brilliant Vasiliy Lomachenko and Teofimo Lopez, so it would put the 140lbs division on notice if Davis can get the job done inside the distance.
The American looked fantastic at lightweight before badly missing weight in June, and he should relish the step up to super-lightweight.
Davis has all the ability in the world and, if that weight mishap served as a wake-up call, the 26-year-old is capable of stealing the show with a huge performance.
