Saturday night was one to remember for Molly McCann who fought in her home city of Liverpool for the first time since swapping the UFC for boxing.
Facing Ashleigh Johnson on the Ben Whittaker-Braian Suarez undercard, McCann produced her best performance to date.
McCann's punches came with plenty of spite, but Johnson has to be commended for continuing to come forward despite eating what felt like an endless barrage.
'Meatball's' performance, combined with a Jamie Webster soundtracked ringwalk, showed that McCann has the potential to become a major star in women's boxing.
