The former London 2012 medalist and decorated amateur has bounced back from his third pro loss over the past year or so.

Now, he will aim to add another scalp to his record in the shape of Walsh, the unbeaten American seeking to boost his name.

Michael Conlan (20-3)

One of his country's most acclaimed amateur fighters, it has never quite clicked on the biggest stages for Conlan, a two-time world title challenger.

Having stopped Karim Guerfi inside one round in late 2022, he lost his IBF bid against Luis Alberto Lopez in 2023, and then fell to Jordan Gill too.

Conlan spent 2024 out of the ring, but returned last March with a win over Asad Asif Khan, followed by a September stoppage against Jack Bateson.

Kevin Walsh (19-0)

Just a year younger than Conlan, and with four less fights on his record, Walsh nevertheless is yet to be bettered across a low-key professional career.

The American arrives on the back of five straight wins, starting with Irvin Gonzalez in late 2024 before a busy slate of four victories across 2025 to boot.

Triumphs against Ricky de los Santos, Tramaine Williams, Angel Luna and Jose Nunez Sosa have now brought him to what is  his first fight overseas.
