The duo meet in a heavyweight clash tonight, with the ex-WBC interim title holder out to upset pundits and powerbrokers against the WBO #1 contender on DAZN Pay-Per-View.

Whyte has gone unbeaten since a 2022 loss to Tyson Fury at Wembley Stadium, but the lacklustre manner of his wins since saw him priced long against his red-hot younger foe.

But speaking on DAZN's coverage, Lee suggested that the veteran's added years at the top of the fight game have helped to establish his credentials to upset the apple cart.

"The opinions [have] started to change the closer it gets, and that's due to the experience of Dillian Whyte, the fights and the history he has in this game," he said.

"We really don't know what Moses is made of yet. There is a lot of potential there, and what he has done so far has been phenomenal.

"But he's never done so against in terms of this level of opposition against Dillian Whyte, so we'll have those answers tonight."

Whyte clocked in at the lightest weight he has seen in several years, with many noting a renewed fire behind 'The Bodysnatcher' as he seeks to upset the odds.

Lee believes it is part of the mind games too, adding: "I think he's been clever this week. He's downplayed his chances

"He almost seemed a little bit [ticked] off that people are writing him off so soon. You can see the shape he's in. You know that means he's taking it very, very seriously.

"He's sacrificed a lot in training, been very strict with his diet and his nutrition. It means he's in great shape coming into this night to perform."
