Usyk defended his IBF, WBA and WBO world heavyweight titles against Dubois in Poland on Saturday, and while the Ukrainian stopped the British challenger in round nine, it was a body shot in the fifth which has overshadowed the contest. 

With Usyk running away on the judges' scorecards, Dubois' best chances of winning were to force the stoppage and he seemed to take a step closer to victory with a body shot which floored the defending champion. But after Usyk hit the canvas, referee Luis Pabon ruled the punch a 'low blow' and instead gave the 36-year-old time to recover. 

This decision has resulted in widespread debate amongst the boxing world with some claiming that the referee made the right decision, while other believe Dubois has been robbed of winning three of the four world heavyweight titles. 

Now Hearn has had his say on the call in a recent Q&A on his Instagram Stories. 

"The entire fist was below the navel, the bottom knuckles miles below - it hit his protector - low blow," Hearn wrote. 

Following Usyk's victory, many will hope an undisputed fight with WBC champion Tyson Fury will finally get made following the latter's clash with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou on October 28.
