A fight of this magnitude deserves a prediction from the former pound-for-pound great and three-division undisputed champion Terence Crawford.

Crawford, who is in town to support his friend and former training partner in Stevenson, spoke to DAZN after Thursday's hotly debated press conference. When asked who he is picking in the main event, there was no hesitation.

"Teofimo is a good fighter," Crawford told DAZN's Todd Grisham. "He's very talented. He's very athletic. He's always rose to the occasion in these big moments like this. But Shakur is just on a whole other level, and this Saturday, he's going to prove it."

Two of Lopez's biggest wins are against southpaws in Vasiliy Lomachenko and Josh Taylor. It's another big fight and Lopez is yet again facing a southpaw, perhaps the premier southpaw in all of boxing. 

"Teofimo has done real well against southpaws," Crawford explained. "But Shakur has done real well against orthodox fighters. Shakur is not the average southpaw that Teofimo has been fighting. That's why I say Shakur's levels above those fighters he's been fighting."
