Over recent weeks, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority has made it clear his plans to put the two American stars back together for an eaglerly-anticipated rematch.

But before all that, the pair will contest their own individual bouts as part of the same stateside bill, along with a slew of other highly anticipated fights.

In a post on X, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh confirmed who Garcia and Haney will be facing in their next fights whilst also announcing a major heavyweight matchup. 

"The Ring Magazine is excited to announce its first boxing card in USA this May 2025 in collaboration with the video game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves (which the card will be named after) and SNK Games," he wrote. 

"This card includes three fights: Ryan Garcia vs. Rolando Romero, Devin Haney vs. Jose Carlos Ramirez, Martin Bakole vs. Efe Ajagba."

"Further details about venue and exact date will be announced later, stay tuned."

If Garcia and Haney can get through their respective matchups, then a long-awaited rematch is likely to be next following on from their first meeting in April last year. 

Garcia triumphed on that occasion, but the result was then overturned to a no-contest after "King Ry" tested positive for a performance enhancing drug in the build-up to the contest.
