Ty Mitchell believes Misfits has "everything under one roof" and weighed in what it shares with traditional models ahead of at Misfits 22 – Ring of Thrones on DAZN Pay-Per-View .
The MF Pro Light Heavyweight champion makes the step down to super middleweight to face Sean Hemphill for his latest clash at Manchester's AO Arena on Saturday night.
Mitchell, who is two from two this year with the promotion, has been weighing up the difference between the new wave of influencer boxing and old-school systems as he prepares.
Speaking exclusively to DAZN News , the 34-year-old says the appeal lies in its collective embrace of all types of fighters, while laying out that it shares the same pay-purse goals.
"I could have more or less signed with anybody I wanted to, but what I really love about Misfits is that you get everything in one place," he said.
"A lot of people who have never been to a Misfits show come and say they love it. You've got those who aren't great boxers, but it's fun.
"You've got MMA fighters, and then you've got professional boxers. For the boxing purist, you've got serious contenders. Sean Hemphill, he's a world-ranked opponent with the IBF.
"He's a legitimate fighter. You get everything under one roof. What's not to like? I know people who have made so much from boxing despite never being a major world champion.
"Chris Eubank Jr., he's made silly amounts of money, but he's never won a recognised belt. You've got Derek Chisora, a fan favourite who people love to come and see.
"He may have never won a world title, but he's known and people will see him. Then you've got world champions who have never been made more than a hundred grand.
"It comes from people wanting to watch you fight, not if you're the best. It's no different to the influencer side of boxing. If people want to watch you box, then you'll make money."
A DAZN subscription provides access to over 185 fights a year across a range of combat sports from the world's best promoters.
