Wardley is set to fight at Portman Road, the home of Ipswich Town Football Club, and the man in the opposite corner was supposed to be the controversial Jarrell Miller. 

However, Miller was forced to withdraw from the bout as a result of a shoulder injury and since then it has emerged that he has split with his promoter Dmitry Salita. 

Now it will be Huni stepping into the lion's den as he looks to bluntly halt Wardley's rapid rise through the ranks.

Speaking to The Stomping Ground at Wednesday's launch press conference, Wardley explained why Huni will be a tougher test compared to Miller. 

"Don’t get me wrong, Jarrell Miller with his come forward style gets stuck into you, is in your face and never leaves you alone, he’s difficult," Wardley said.

"But it is very one trick pony and you know what that trick is.

"With Justis, I’ll complement him enough to say he does have more than a couple of tricks in his pocket, he can pull off some different stuff so yeah it’s me having to be prepared for a bunch of different things really."

Wardley and Huni will be fighting for the WBA interim heavyweight championship with the winner putting themselves in a position to challenge for a world title in the near future.
