Willy Hutchinson has promised fans "an exceptional knockout" against Ezra Taylor when they meet tomorrow night.
The pair will meet on the Moses Itauma-Jermaine Franklin undercard at Co-op Live in Manchester, live on DAZN.
After the pair first came to blows ringside in November, there has been plenty of needle as the day has neared.
Now, however, Hutchinson insists his focus is on delivering what supporters want, with a brutal showreel stoppage.
"I'm happy to be in Manchester," he exclusively told DAZN News. "I'm going to give the fans what they want to see
"That is an exceptional knockout. It's about staying cool, calm and collected. This is the fun part for me. We're here.
"Whatever emotions you've had in the months before, it means nothing. What's most important is what comes now.
"There's not been much routine, to be honest. I don't really get too much into it. The most critical time is now. It's good."
Willy Hutchinson may be the younger man in his rivalry with Ezra Taylor, but the stakes feel more loaded for his future.
Two losses on his record in prime bouts that could have pushed him onto the world level in earnestness have checked him.
But 'The Hutch Train' seldom knows when to stop, and backed by a devoted fanbase, will hope to boost his profile again.
He represents the toughest test of Taylor's career on paper so far, and will be as keen as mustard to deliver a statement.
Whether he can keep his focus against a foe determined to get under his skin remains to be seen, but he will hope for the best.
