“The Goiliath” Jamal Ben Saddik has spent a lifetime competing in GLORY Kickboxing, making his official debut at just GLORY 2, and has his next bout booked for GLORY 100 on June 13. The towering Moroccan-Belgian athlete helped build the kickboxing giant and takes pride in his work with the company.

Fans fly from all over the globe to attend GLORY events. From corner to corner of the earth, fans tune in to watch kickboxing action. Ben Saddik reflected on his contributions to the organization in an exclusive interview with DAZN News , he said:

“It’s amazing. I’ve been here from the start, and to see how far we’ve come, especially with the fans turning out like this, is incredible. It means a lot to be recognized in the sport and to be part of these big moments.”

Despite being with the company for more than a decade, he’s hardly the old man of the division. Having made his debut when he was only 19 years old, Ben Saddik might have a decade left in the sport. The 34-year-old continued:

“I still feel young and strong. I’m excited to show the next generation what I can do. I can’t wait to keep pushing forward and see what’s next.”

With two huge wins thus far in 2025, he will need to win two more at GLORY 100 to keep his place in the Last Heavyweight Standing Tournament. He headkicked Uku Jürjendal at GLORY 98, then defeated Cristian Ristea at GLORY 99. 16 heavyweight strikers remain in the grand prix, and this will be reduced down to merely four on June 14.

At GLORY 100, Ben Saddik will face the highly skilled southpaw boxer Sofian Laidouni, a tricky fighter for any opponent. But “The Goliath” does not lack confidence. On his upcoming fight, he explained:

“Fighting a southpaw like Sofian Laidouni isn’t something new for me. I stay focused, and my plan is always to damage my opponent and impose my style. I’m ready for whatever he brings.”

The Moroccan-Belgian is an inspiration for a generation of athletes. Some of that is due to his ability in the ring, but much of this is because he is a cancer survivor. He’s never let being knocked down, whether in GLORY or a recovery room, keep him down. As a cancer survivor and a veteran of the sport, he’s become a symbol of resilience for fans worldwide, showing that true champions rise from every setback. The 34-year-old encourages his fans to keep pushing. He said:

“Never stop believing in your dreams - even when you fall down, stand up and keep going. Believe in your dreams and work hard, every day, again and again, both in the ring and outside of it. That’s how life goes, and that’s how you succeed.”

“The Goliath” Ben Saddik is known for dangerous knockout power, towering height, and relentless grit. He will put all of his fortitude on display at GLORY 100 on June 14, fighting twice, to survive to the next round.
