Saturday's fight with Robert Helenius was no different and one of those in attendance was UFC superstar Conor McGregor. 

While the 35-year-old has been spotted at a number of boxing events including the undisputed women's super lightweight clash between Chantelle Cameron and Katie Taylor, fans are eagerly awaiting to see when he will make a return to the Octagon. 

McGregor's last appearance in the UFC was two years ago when he fought Dustin Poirier for a third time, but this was a fight which he would lose by technical knockout in round one after picking up a leg injury. 

Now a return is on the cards with Michael Chandler set to be the opponent after the pair went head-to-head on the latest series of The Ultimate Fighter. 

However, while December was looking likely for this fight, there is some doubt due to McGregor not enrolling in USADA testing, a UFC fighter is required undertake at least six months of testing before returning to competition after a layoff, but when speaking to talkSPORT, the Irishman claims a fight with Chandler later this year will happen. 

"December – [Michael] Chandler, I have to do it,” McGregor stated. 

“I’ve just got to grab him by the chest [and smack him]. That’s what I’ve got to do.

"Chandler next in December and then [Justin] Gaethje, BMF and then we’ll do the Nate [Diaz] trilogy."

There is a chance McGregor could be given an exemption from USADA testing, but this has only happened once when Brock Lesnar was given permission to compete at UFC 200.
