Thirty-two teams, including Real Madrid, Manchester City, Inter Miami, Boca Juniors and more, will compete for glory across the United States over four weeks.
But even before a ball has been kicked, teams are already starting to book their place for the next edition in a new four-year cycle, almost half-a-decade away.

Four teams have qualified for the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup, with Al-Ahli the first to secure their place for the showpiece tournament in May thanks to their continental success.
The Saudi Pro League champions won the 2024-25 edition of the AFC Champions League Elite, defeating J1 League outfit Kawasaki Frontale in the final.
Paris Saint-Germain followed them at the end of the month with their triumph in the 2025 UEFA Champions League final, defeating Inter Milan to book their second appearance.
They were joined in early June by Egypt's Pyramids and Mexico's Cruz Azul, who were respective victors in the 2024-25 CAF Champions League and 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup.
