Barcelona versus Atletico Madrid, with a place in the Champions League semi-finals at stake, is an occasion to stir the blood.
The La Liga giants met in the league on Saturday, a stormy 2-1 away win for Barca, and now face off again at Camp Nou in Wednesday’s quarter-final first leg.
Here, DAZN News reporter Ross Heppenstall analyses the key angles surrounding the tie.
Hans Flick’s defending La Liga champions have not lost at home in the league all season, racking up a perfect 15 straight wins.
It is a remarkable record and Barcelona have certainly made themselves at home since returning to their iconic Nou Camp stadium.
They have beaten Atletico twice there already this season, a 3-1 La Liga win in early December and a 3-0 victory in the Copa Del Rey last month.

Diego Simeone’s side did beat them 4-3 on aggregate in the Spanish cup competition, but Barca won at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano on Saturday with goals from Marcus Rashford and Robert Lewandowski.
Flick’s men sit seven points clear of nearest challengers Real Madrid at the La Liga summit, with Atletico 19 points off the title pace in fourth spot.
What price Barcelona clinching a league and Champions League double?

Barcelona have scored 80 goals in 30 La Liga games this term, underlining why they are so entertaining to watch.
This is a side dripping with attacking flair, speed and skill, with Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski, Ferran Torres and Raphinha all in double figures for league goals.
Yamal, the precociously-talented 18-year-old superstar, is also joint top of the assists charts with Getafe’s Luis Milla on nine goals created.
In addition to his 14 La Liga goals Yamal also has five Champions League goals this season – as has on-loan Manchester United striker Rashford – while team-mate Fermine Lopez has six.
This is a Barcelona side with so much firepower and talent that goals are inevitably shared throughout the team.
Lopez and Yamal have both claimed four Champions League goal assists this season too.

Lewandowski scored an 87th-minute winner for Barcelona against 10-man Atletico Madrid on Saturday ahead of their Champions League showdown this week.
In a bad-tempered affair, Atletico played the whole of the second half with 10 men following Nico Gonzalez’s straight red card on the stroke of half-time.
Atletico led through a clinical strike by Giuliano Simeone, the son of manager Diego, in the 39th minute.
But Rashford soon equalised before Gonzalez was shown a straight red for denying Lamine Yamal a goalscoring opportunity.
Barca’s Gerard Martin was shown a red card for an heavy challenge on Thiago Almada, which was downgraded to a yellow after the referee was instructed to watch it again on the pitchside monitor.
To compound Atletico’s frustration, Lewandowski, 37, scored the late winner, much to the delight of his manager.
Flick said: “It's not easy to play here because the atmosphere and emotions are very high here. I am really happy with these three points.
“We need this hunger. We have to win the games. We have eight games to play. We have to stay focused and always be ready.
“We know that Champions League is totally different and every players has more to give. Everyone wants to be in the semi-final.
“We have three days more to prepare, to rest a little bit and focus on the next game. These are the kind of games why I do this job.”

The former Leeds United winger sustained a hamstring injury while on international duty for Brazil and looks set to be sidelined for a number of weeks.
Raphinha has been a hugely instrumental figure for Barca this season, netting 19 goals and eight assists in 31 games in all competitions.
Atletico boss Simeone said: “I’m not thinking about Raphinha. I’m thinking about the quarter-final match we’ll have to play against a massive team like Barcelona.
“First away from home, given the way they compete at home.
“We have to be strong, play better than in the second leg of the Copa, where they didn’t let us think, attack or create chances.
“We need to give more of ourselves because we’re in a Champions League quarter-final.”
Frenkie de Jong is also sidelined with a hamstring injury while Andreas Christensen and Marc Bernal remain unavailable.
Atletico, meanwhile, have been boosted after Jan Oblak, Marc Pubill and Rodrigo Mendoza returned to full training but Jose Maria Gimenez is a doubt with a calf problem.
