Ted Cann kept Rotherham ahead as he made a great diving stop to prevent Daniel Kyerewaa’s low shot from creeping in.

Reading responded with the leveller after 47 minutes with Kyerewaa tucking home from Paddy Lane’s pass.

Kyerewaa was then denied a second as Zak Jules blocked his effort.

From there on, it was the home side who looked the more likely to grab the three points.
