Enzo Fernandez wants to fulfil another dream by helping Chelsea beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final this afternoon.
The Argentine World Cup winner, 25, headed the only goal of the game against Leeds last month as the Blues booked a return trip to Wembley.
And despite the Londoners enduring a turbulent season, which has seen managers Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior sacked, Fernandez cannot wait to play at the home of English football once again.
He said: “I have always dreamed since I arrived here to win many titles and achieve our goals together.
“So I am very, very happy to play another final, with a lot of enthusiasm, with a lot of desire.”
Unless Reece James gets the nod to start against City, Fernandez will lead out interim head coach Calum McFarlane’s side at the national stadium.
Having already won the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup since joining Chelsea in January 2023, the midfielder is determined to add to his medal collection.
He was on the losing side at Wembley in February 2024 as the Blues were beaten 1-0 by Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
And the pain of defeat is not something he's keen to experience again against Pep Guardiola's men — particulaly after being thrashed 3-0 by the Premier League title-chasers at Stamford Bridge last month.
In an interview for the FA Cup final programme, Fernandez said: “I am very excited. I always dream of winning titles. I compete every day.
“I always want to win. I always want to add titles for the club, for my career. I am very excited and determined to win this [trophy].”
Reflecting on his decisive header against Leeds, which came in the 23rd minute of the semi-final clash, he added: “It was very important — a dream come true.
“First, being able to play in that stadium, and second, scoring a goal. The truth is, I am very happy about the victory, for helping my team-mates and the team to win.”
After seeing the Blues win just two of their last 11 games in all competitions, Chelsea fans will be dreaming of a miracle at Wembley.
