While the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane boast eye-watering goal totals across their glittering careers, there are some under 30 superstars who are hot on their tails and looking to make an impact across North America later this month.

Here are the top five goalscorers under 30 years old (club and country combined):

1. Kylian Mbappé - 425 goals

The current king of the U30s, Mbappé has been scoring for fun since bursting on the scene in 2016-17 with Monaco. The 27-year-old is not slowing down either, as he just topped the scoring charts Champions League and La Liga.

2. Erling Haaland - 352 goals

Haaland has scored more Premier League goals than any other player since his arrival in England's top flight, and he's already Norway's all-time scoring leader by a considerable margin. At just 26, the Manchester City star could challenge Mbappé's goals total when all is said and done.

3. Lautaro Martinez - 238 goals

At 28, Martinez has been prolific for a decade but he tends to get overshadowed by his Argentina teammate, the aforementioned Messi, to the point that it's easy to forget that he's got a strike rate of nearly a goal every two games for the Albiceleste.

4. Viktor Gyökeres - 214 goals

A relatively slow start to life at Arsenal cannot overshadow how productive Gyökeres has been across his career, as the Swede scored for fun in Portugal for Sporting CP before heading back to England to help the Gunners win their first league title in more than two decades.

5. Victor Osimhen - 208 goals

The Nigerian has filled the nets in every league he's played, making a real name for himself during his four-year stint with Napoli, and he has 35 goals in 51 matches with his country.
