48 nations will be heading to North America for the biggest-ever finals, but how many players among the fleet of names appearing at the World Cup are from Serie A clubs?

Although the Italian national team aren't there, DAZN News has totted up the total from the country's top flight and can reveal who and how many familiar faces you'll be seeing Stateside.

Fiorentina - 1

The Viola will be flying the flag for Croatia this month in Croatian star Marin Pongracic.

Udinese - 1

No Italy to cheer on? Well, Udinese fans can root for Graham Potter's Sweden instead, as they have Jesper Karlstrom repping them.

Cagliari - 1

Former Everton man Yerry Mina remains a big part of the Colombian back line and will be Cagliari's World Cup guy for 2026.

  • Assane Diao (Senegal)

Sassuolo - 4

Proof of Sassuolo's steady return to Serie A in 2025-26 is the four players at the tournament. Each of which have played a big role for the side in the domestic campaign.

  • Scott McTominay (Scotland)
  • Romelu Lukaku (Belgium)
