The Champions League's heaviest of heavyweight clashes at the quarter-final stage resumes on Wednesday, when the giants of Munich and Madrid meet in their second leg.
Following the first leg, it's advantage Bayern after their 2-1 win at the Bernabéu, and once again the spotlight will be on the two prizefighters on each side.
This clash was billed as Ballon d'Or off between Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe, and round two of that fight proceeds at the Allianz Arena, with Kane now the favourite to deliver the knockout blow.
Looking back on events in Spain last week, both Kane and Mbappe had a say in the story that unfolded in the first leg.
Like two gladiators taking to the arena, all eyes were on the frontmen to deliver the goods and further their own claim in a season where it seems destined that one of them will win Europe's most golden of golden balls.
Yet, it was Kane who flexed hardest and continued his career-defying season by being involved in both goals to give the Germans the advantage ahead of the return tie at home.
The England skipper was involved in Luis Diaz's opening goals as his link-up with Serge Gnabry eventually fell to the feet of the Colombian to score, before Kane himself notched his first goal against Real Madrid and scored the winner in typical fashion.
That's not to say Mbappe was completely outshone. Even in defeat, the Frenchman still had his say, netting for Madrid with a neat close-range finish to keep the tie alive and give him and his team a fighting chance in Munich.
But can he repeat the trick and show up his rival as they go again tonight?

Kane and Mbappe are now set to go again, with the expectation on their shoulders to once again deliver. Not that it should faze either, who between them have scored nearly 90 goals across 2025-26.
Talking of goals, and while Kane may be the biggest source of the output for Bayern, he's not Madrid's only problem, because the Germans have been imperious in front of goal this season.
Alongside Kane, Luis Diaz and Michael Olise have been so much more than a support act for the England frontman.
The trio have been part of a Bayern side that has hit 102 goals this term in Germany, breaking a 50-year-old record for the most goals scored in a Bundesliga season, with the front three scoring over half of them.
Olise also leads the assists charts domestically, having laid on 18 goals for his teammates. So, as much as Kane will be Madrid's biggest headache, his tag team partners are just as effective, making Real's task even more daunting.

The onus on the two star names will now be to get the final say in this two-part showdown.
For Kane, adding a Champions League to a season where he's already guaranteed a second successive Bundesliga title would strengthen his claim in the Ballon d'Or race, where only a disastrous World Cup would prevent him from becoming the first English winner since Michael Owen in 2001.
Mbappe may have a harder job, though. Domestically, Madrid look to be out of the title chase once again, and therefore his performances in Europe need to be what defines his claim, as well as another standout showing in the summer as the talisman for favourites France.
Have the final word tonight, though, and they can start drafting a Ballon d'Or acceptance speech at least.
