Lee Sharpe puts forward two names to be next England boss after Gareth Southgate

All eyes may well be on England and their chances at Euro 2024, but how the Three Lions fare in Germany could have a bearing on who the manager is after events in Germany.
Speculation is rife that Gareth Southgate might step down after the tournament, with rumours already linking him to a potential move to Manchester United, especially if current manager Erik ten Hag's is sacked.
If Southgate does decide to end his successful tenure after the Euros, there are several potential successors being considered to fill the 53-year-old's shoes.
Big hitters such as Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola have been mentioned as possible candidates, but former England winger Lee Sharpe exclusively told DAZN, via Slotozilla, that he would look at one of two names.
"I think either one of Eddie Howe or Graham Potter," he said.
"I think Eddie Howe has done an amazing job both at Bournemouth and Newcastle, and without spending absolute fortunes at Newcastle, and I think he has turned the club around.
"Graham Potter did an amazing job at Brighton and wasn’t given long enough at Chelsea so we can’t judge him on his time there, but he is thoughtful, he’s tactically aware and likes to play football and keep possession, improves the players that he coaches, and would be a really good option."
