Alex Mitchell, Aribim Pepple and Malachi Boateng all scored in the first half, before Caleb Watts found the back of the net after the break as Tom Cleverley’s side ended a three-match winless run.

And there was still time for Boateng to add his name to the scoresheet before the interval as he tucked home from close range after a Herbie Kane shot was stopped.

Watts made it 4-0 on the hour mark, finishing from a Joe Edwards cutback, before Husband saw red after kicking out at Xavier Amaechi after being fouled by the Argyle substitute.
