Arne Slot's men were outplayed and outclassed in Paris last week, and the only crumb of comfort is that they didn't leave the French capital having conceded more goals and with a bigger mountain to climb.
To make matters worse, the French champions have had a weekend off to prepare for their trip to Merseyside, and although Liverpool got a morale-boosting win against Fulham, they will come into the game feeling fresher than their opponents.

Liverpool vs. PSG will take place at 8pm GMT on Tuesday, April 14, in the Champions League.
That means that fans watching in the US and Canada can see the game at 3pm ET and 12pm PT, while it's a 8am kick-off on Wednesday, April 15, for fans in New Zealand.
The game will be played at Anfield in Liverpool.
The Frenchman went to Paris with a point to prove last week, but didn't really get to shine against his former club, but will get another opportunity on Tuesday.
Ekitike has been Liverpool's most consistent frontman this season and will be looking to add to his 17 goals this term - three of which have come in the Champions League.
With Alexander Isak still on his way back to match fitness and Mo Salah checking out, the onus is on the striker to come up with the goods.

To stop the Reds getting a foothold in the game, it will be Vitinha's job to keep the ball and play between the lines to penetrate and punish the Premier League champions.
Look for him to try and run this game and book the Paraisians safely through to the last four.
It's hard to see PSG not scoring at Anfield, making the task for the home side an even harder one than it is already.
With the famous atmosphere, under the lights on a European night, Liverpool will go close. But there's something of a mistrust in this season's team, and therefore this is where their Champions League journey ends.
